360 KB: Films on Demand from InfoBase Publishers, Inc. and Films Media Group: Database Migration -- February 2019

What is happening to the two databases named Films on Demand, from InfoBase Publishers, Inc. and Films Media Group?

The databases named Films on Demand from the providers InfoBase Publishers, Inc. and Films Media Group (codes PF. and 55W, respectively) are no longer available.  These databases had been used to track Summon content; that content will be removed from Summon on February 21, 2019.

Summon content for Films on Demand can now be tracked via several new databases, each representing a different Films on Demand collection.  These databases, and instructions for how to configure them for direct linking in Summon, are listed here: Index-Enhanced Direct Linking Special Providers

This change will take effect on February 21, 2019.  Please note that the new Films on Demand databases listed in the link above, and the corresponding Summon content, are available now.  We recommend that you migrate immediately.

    Action you need to take:

    • Update the holdings in your Intota or Client Center profile by subscribing to the appropriate new Films on Demand databases instead of the old database.  For information on how to update your profile, and considerations prior to removing the old database from your profile:
