    • Product: 360 KB

What is happening to the ACS Surgery database?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the ACS Surgery database (database code CQI) from the provider the American College of Surgeons in the 360 KB knowledgebase.  (Please note that this database is currently hidden in the knowledgebase and is therefore only visible to current subscribers.)

We have learned that the title in the ACS Surgery database is now published by Decker Publishing.  Therefore, in order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata, based on the ProQuest Database Acquisition and Collection Policy, the title will be removed from the ACS Surgery database on January 29, 2015. The ACS Surgery database will become a zero-titles database.

The title in the ACS Surgery database, "ACS Surgery : Principles and Practice" has been added to the Scientific American Surgery database (database code ADG) from the provider Decker Publishing.  Clients who want continued access to the title "ACS Surgery : Principles and Practice" should subscribe to the Scientific American Surgery database.

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager or 360 Counter client, you may need to make some changes before January 29, 2015.
