360 KB: Dialnet Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- July 2017

What is happening to the database Dialnet?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the Dialnet database from provider Universidad de la Rioja in the Knowledgebase. The provider is no longer able to provide us with updates to support this database.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from Dialnet database in the Knowledgebase on July 20, 2017. The database will become a zero-titles database. (NOTE: The database code for this database is FKZ.)

This means that this database (and its titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before July 20, 2017:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
