360 KB: Gale Digital Collections

What is going on with the Gale Digital Collections?

In the 360 KB knowledgebase, we are currently tracking Gale Digital Collections products from the provider Gale as either zero-title databases, or as full-text databases with database-level (rather than title-level) linking.

• Is the database populated with full text titles in the knowledgebase:

• • If yes, any library can see the database in the Client Center's e-Catalog and subscribe to the database.

  • If no, only libraries that subscribe to 360 Resource Manager, 360 Search, or Summon® will be able to see and subscribe to the database. The database must have a connector to work for 360 Search, and must be included in the Summon® Index to work for Summon.

We are continuing to work with Gale to ensure that the Gale Digital Collections products are correctly represented in the 360 KB knowledgebase.
