360 KB: Latindex Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- October 2020

What is happening to the database Latindex?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the Latindex database from provider Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. Direccion General de Bibliotecas in the Knowledgebase. This database currently contains many broken links and out of date holdings information. We have not been able to successfully receive a response and updated titles list from the provider.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from Latindex database in the Knowledgebase on 21 October, 2020. The database will become a zero-titles database. (NOTE: The database code for this database is 77F.)

This means that this database (and its titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before [effective date]:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
