360 KB: OnePetro Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- January 2023

What is happening to the database OnePetro?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the OnePetro from provider OnePetro.org in the Knowledgebase. The Database will be changed to an index-only database and there is no full-text included in the database.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from OnePetro database in the Knowledgebase on January 11, 2023. The database will become a zero-titles database. (NOTE: The database code for this database is 2WD.)

This means that this database (and its titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before January 11, 2023:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
