360 KB: Oxford University Press: Name changes -- September, 2022

What is happening to the Oxford University Press databases?

The following databases from the provider Oxford University Press are named incorrectly.

Therefore, we will be changing the databases names in the Knowledgebase. The content of the databases, and the database IDs, will remain the same.

This change will take effect on September 29, 2022:

    Old Name New Name DBID
Oxford University Press Scholarship Online Archaeology  Oxford Scholarship Online Archaeology ALCZX
Oxford University Press Scholarship Online Chemistry Oxford Scholarship Online Chemistry AARIG
Oxford University Press Scholarship Online Clinical Medicine and Allied Health Oxford Scholarship Online Clinical Medicine and Allied Health ABYBI
Oxford University Press Scholarship Online Computer Science Oxford Scholarship Online Computer Science ABFDL
Oxford University Press Scholarship Online Earth Science Oxford Scholarship Online Earth Science ADVMT
Oxford University Press Scholarship Online Education Oxford Scholarship Online Education AAVBR
Oxford University Press Scholarship Online Environmental Science Oxford Scholarship Online Environmental Science ABZIF

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds the database name as it appears in the Client Center/Intota to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after September 29, 2022.
    • If your library uses a third-party service (such as EBSCO A-Z, etc.), custom scripts to manage data, or other non-ProQuest tools that require the database name to function, you should note the change in ProQuest's database name in order to retain the proper relationship/mapping between those tools.
