360 KB: Print Measurement Bureau Database from Print Measurement Bureau: Database Name and provider Name Change and Database URL Domain Change – September 2016

What is happening to the database and provider names and URL linking syntax of database Print Measurement Bureau Database?

The database Print Measurement Bureau Database from the provider Print Measurement Bureau has merged with NADbank to form a new provider.

Therefore, we will be changing the database name, database URL, and the provider name of this database in the Knowledgebase. The content of the database, and the database ID (D1C), will remain the same.

This change will take effect on September 23, 2016:

    Before September 23, 2016:

Database Name: Print Measurement Bureau Database
    Provider Name: Print Measurement Bureau
    Database URL: http://www.pmb.ca

    After September 23, 2016:

    Database Name: Vividata Database
    Provider Name: Vividata
    Database URL: https://vividata.ca/educational-resources/

Actions you may need to take:

If you are a 360 MARC Updates client and have requested the custom specification that adds the database name as it appears in the Client Center/Intota to MARC records, you can expect to see some change records when you get your MARC records after September 23, 2016.

If you are a 360 Counter or Intota Assessment client, you will need to make some changes the next time you upload consolidated reports.

If your library uses a third-party service (such as SFX, EBSCO A-Z, etc.), custom scripts to manage data, or other non-ProQuest tools that require the database name to function, you should note the change in ProQuest's database name in order to retain the proper relationship/mapping between those tools.
