360 KB: Sage Packages and Collections Divided by Year

    • Product: 360 KB

Why are the Sage packages and collections (databases) divided by year?

Sage sells many of its packages and collections as "perpetual access" packages, and we classify each annual package or collection as an individual database in 360 KB.

This means that if you purchased a particular package in 2011, you will continue to have access to the titles that were available in 2011. However, in 2012, Sage added new titles to their package, and you do not have access to those new titles if you purchased the package in 2011; you would need to upgrade your subscription to the 2012 package to get the 2012 titles.

This continues on each year, with you purchasing the newer package to gain access to the new titles being added to the package. If you choose not to purchase the newer package, you will continue to have access via the package year that you did purchase.
