360 KB: Titles Missing and Changes Requested to Titles in the ebrary Perpetual Access, PDA and STL Database -- Spring 2015

    • Product: 360 KB

There appear to be titles missing from the ebrary Perpetual Access, PDA and STL Database.  Also, I would like to request some changes to titles in this database.  What is happening to the ebrary Perpetual Access, PDA and STL Database?

ProQuest's automated delivery system for titles within the ebrary Perpetual Access, PDA and STL Database (database code JJU) is not yet fully shepherding all the necessary titles from ebrary to the Perpetual database in the Knowledgebase.  This is a known issue and our developers are working on ensuring that all necessary titles for the ebrary Perpetual collection are included in database JJU in the Knowledgebase.

Until there is a full resolution to the missing titles issue, we recommend that libraries that are experiencing titles missing from JJU set up a Library Managed Holdings database for their missing titles.  (Instructions on how to do so can be found at 360 Core: Library-Specific (Library-Managed) Holdings Database -- Overview.)  Please note that due to the new automated nature of this collection, the Data Team cannot add titles by hand to this collection.  Also because of the new automated update method, the Data Team is greatly restricted in their ability to make changes to metadata within the Perpetual collection, e.g. changes to title names, dates published, ISBNs, etc.

We thank you for your patience as we work to restore all the necessary titles to the ebrary Perpetual collection and we apologize for any inconvenience caused as we work towards a full resolution.
