360 KB: UPCC Books Cornell UP Open Access Books Database: Titles Will Be Removed -- May 11th, 2018

What is happening to the database UPCC Books Cornell UP Open Access Books?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the UPCC Books Cornell UP Open Access Books from provider Project MUSE in the Knowledgebase. This database is a duplicate of the Project MUSE - Classic Cornell University Press Open Access Books database, which is available from the same provider.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from UPCC Books Cornell UP Open Access Books database in the Knowledgebase on May 11th, 2018. The database will become a zero-titles database. (NOTE: The database code for this database is ADDHY).

This means that this database (and its titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for this database. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service. If you would like to continue to have access to the titles from this database, please subscribe to Project MUSE - Classic Cornell University Press Open Access Books database (code ACYPQ) which contains the same titles.

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before May 11th, 2018:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
