360 KB: University Press Scholarship Online - Frontfile and Backfile Databases: Titles Will Be Removed -- June 2017

What is happening to the University Press Scholarship Frontfile and Backfile databases?

[Note, the date for the change has been moved from April to June]

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the following databases from provider Oxford University Press in the Knowledgebase:

University Press Scholarship Online - Frontfile (Database Code W2P)
University Press Scholarship Online - Backfile (DatabaseCode W2M)

The provider Oxford University Press no longer represents the University Press Scholarship Online collection as front or back file but in one A-Z list collection.

The databases University Press Scholarship Online- Frontfile and University Press Scholarship Online - Back file from the provider Oxford University Press will no longer be updated. In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on our Knowledgebase collection policy), all titles will be removed from both databases and will be hidden in the Knowledgebase on June 21, 2017. These databases will become zero-titles databases, and no future subscriptions will be possible. (NOTE: The database codes for these databases are  W2P, and W2M.)

In place of these two databases, please subscribe to the University Press Scholarship Online database (Database Code TI5) which will continue to receive updates.

This means that these databases (and their titles) will not be available to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link, and you won't receive MARC updates for these databases. However, the database will still be available for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.

Actions you may need to take:

    • If you are a 360 Resource Manager, 360 Counter, or Intota client, you may need to make some changes to your account settings before June 21, 2017:
      • Intota users click here.
      • Client Center users click here.
