360 KB: HighWire Database: Oxford Journal and Sage Publication Titles Will Be Removed -- February 2017

What is happening to HighWire Press and HighWire Press (Free Journals) database?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the HireWire Press and HighWire Press (Free Journals)  from provider HighWire Press in the Knowledgebase. The subset of Oxford University Press journals and Sage Publication journal titles contained in these databases has migrated off of HighWire platform.

In order to accurately represent HighWire Press collections, we will be removing all Oxford University Press and Sage Publication journal titles from the following databases:

    HighWire Press: database code RHI

HighWire Press (Free Journals): database code RHF

Please keep in mind this article is related to the following articles detailing the migration off HighWire:

360 KB: Oxford Journals from Oxford University Press: Title-Level URL Domain Change - November 2016 through January 2017

360 KB: Sage Journals databases from Sage Publications: Title-Level URL Domain Change and Migration -- December 2016

All Oxford Journal and Sage Publication titles will be removed from HighWire databases on February 15, 2017.

****A title list of deleted titles has not been provided by HighWire however to identify which titles are being deleted please look for title urls that contain the    following syntaxes:

     sagepub.com

    https://academic.oup.com/  or oxfordjournals.com

This means that Oxford University Press journals and Sage Publications journal titles will not be available through HighWire Press to your patrons who use the E-Journal Portal or 360 Link. Titles not associated with Oxford University Press and Sage Publications will still be available in these databases for 360 Search, 360 Counter, 360 Resource Manager, Intota, and the Summon™ service.

Actions you may need to take:
