360 KB: LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keeps Stuff Safe) URL Customizations

    • Product: 360 KB

LOCKSS URLs do not point to our library's local LOCKSS box. How do we fix them?

Because LOCKSS boxes are hosted locally and the URLs are specific to each library's setup, the URLs must be customized to work properly.

ProQuest will customize these for you if you supply us with the domain and the port number that the LOCKSS box can be accessed through. You may need to get this information from the administrator of your local LOCKSS installation. Use the Support Portal option near the top of this page to contact us.

The URL will look something like this:

    http://[subdomain, if applicable].[domain].[edu/com/etc.]:[port number]/ServeContent?[issn/eissn]=[issn]

For example, instead of the default URL (http://LOCKSS_RESOLVER/ServeContent?eissn=1573-2835), your URLs should look something like this:
