    • Product: 360 KB

What is happening to the database e-Revist@s: Plataforma Open Access de Revistas Electrónicas Españolas y Latinoamericanas?

ProQuest currently has title-level information for the e-Revist@s: Plataforma Open Access de Revistas Electrónicas Españolas y Latinoamericanas database from provider Centro de Información y Documentación Científica (CINDOC - CSIC) in the Knowledgebase. The provider Centro de Información y Documentación Científica (CINDOC - CSIC) no longer offers access to the titles in e-Revist@s: Plataforma Open Access de Revistas Electrónicas Españolas y Latinoamericanas database.  Instead, the provider is making the content available in database REDIB - Red Iberoamericana de Innovación y Conocimiento Científico (database code AAESV).

    • Note that this database is currently a zero-title database in our Knowledgebase, as the provider is not yet able to supply a title list.

In order to maintain accurate and authoritative provider metadata (based on the 360 KB collection policy), all titles will be removed from e-Revist@s: Plataforma Open Access de Revistas Electrónicas Españolas y Latinoamericanas database in 360 KB on March 29, 2016. The database will become a zero-titles database. (NOTE: The database code for this database is 2VE.).

This change will take effect on March 29, 2016:

Before March 29: e-Revist@s: Plataforma Open Access de Revistas Electrónicas Españolas y Latinoamericanas (database code 2VE)

After March 29: REDIB - Red Iberoamericana de Innovación y Conocimiento Científico (database code AAESV)

Actions you may need to take:

    • Once the above change takes effect, update the holdings in your Intota or Client Center profile by subscribing to the new database instead of the old database.  For information on how to update your profile, and considerations prior to removing the old database from your profile:
