Client Center: Change Relative Coverage Dates from English Text to Numbers

    • Product: 360 Core Client Center

Can I have relative coverage dates (such as embargoes) translated into my own language?

Serials Solutions cannot display relative-coverage dates in languages other than English. However, we can change a title's relative-coverage dates so that they are presented to your patrons as actual numeric dates rather than in English text.
For example, assume you have coverage for a title in the Client Center that ranges from a start date of "01/01/2000" to an end date of "1 year ago."
Currently, your patrons see the embargo dates for that title (from a search in the E-Journal Portal or from 360 Link results) as ...
    1/1/2000 - 1 year ago
However, we can change "1 year ago" to a numeric date, based on the day when the patron is looking at the result. For instance, if your patron was looking at the search result on April 16, 2010, they would see:
    1/1/2000 - 4/15/2009
To request that relative dates be represented as numeric values instead of English text, please use the Support Portal option near the top of this page to send us a request.
