    Jane's Information Group

Jane's Defence & Security News Modules, Jane's Magazines and Jane's Sentinel Country Risk Assessments are all databases that do not support Index-Enhanced Direct Linking. However, each of them contain individual titles from Jane's that can be set up to provide direct links to your users. If your library subscribes to any or all of those three databases, you will need to do the following:

    1. In your Client Center or Intota profile, select the database name in order to view the Database Details page.

    2. Click Edit on the right side (Intota users: click Edit to the right of the Discovery section).

    3. Uncheck the Display in Summon checkbox.

    4. Click Save to save your changes.

For Summon you can instead add these databases by selecting from any of the zero-title Jane's databases in our system. Each of these are effectively individual titles that are included in the databases called Jane's Defence & Security News Modules, Jane's Magazines or Jane's Sentinel Country Risk Assessments and may be linked directly in Summon results.

For example, the database Jane's Defence & Security News Modules includes a number of titles, each of which has a corresponding "database" entry in 360 KB. "Defence Industry" is one title within Jane's Defence & Security News Modules, and its corresponding "database" entry in 360 KB is "IHS Jane's Defence Industry." Your library can provide direct linking to articles from that title by selecting and enabling this "database" in your Client Center or Intota profile.

To enable these databases, you will need to do the following:
    1. In your Client Center or Intota profile, select the database name in order to view the the Database Details page.

    2. Click Edit on the right side (Intota users: click Edit to the right of the Discovery section).
