Why don't my results in 360 Search match the results in the native interfaces for my included resources?
It's an inherent feature of federated search that search results frequently don't exactly match the results in the native interfaces, because each resource may not support all 360 Search search types.
Some vendors' Z servers default to another search type if they receive a query that isn't supported -- for example, if a database's Z server doesn't support "subject" searches, it may just treat the query as a "keyword" search (even though "subject" may be a search type available in the native Web interface). If another database's Z server doesn't support phrase searching, it may reinterpret phrase searches as Or or And searches.
For another, more basic example, sending a "full text" search to an abstract/index database will likely return zero results, since there is no full-text to search.
There are many more examples as to why you may see different results numbers.
