360 Core: Custom Database Order for E-Journal Portal Search Results

    • Product: E-Journal Portal

How do I change the order of E-Journal Portal search results so that journals from certain databases are listed first?

By default, E-Journal Portal search results of the same journal title (in other words, different holdings) are displayed in chronological order (oldest first), based on the start date of the holding's date range. However, you can dictate the order of the results using the same database display order used for 360 Link results, for instance if you want the journal from a certain database to be listed first.

(See the instructions on how to change the order of the databases within 360 Link.)

To turn on this function within the E-Journal Portal, use the Support Portal option near the top of this page to send us a request.

This feature is only available to libraries that subscribe to 360 Link.
