    Description:
    When we run the Upgrade Express Oracle steps (1000-up), there's no error message, but the steps run very quickly and the ./logs/log/10nn.log file has only this:

    Step 1000 - Description:
    <description>
    Step begin 1000
    Step end 1000

    When we then try to use version 20, we see Oracle error: "fetch znnn" and "variable not in select list" in the server log files.

    Resolution:
    Upgrade Express runs the step for the libraries which are specified in the "View/Update upgrade parameters / Libraries to be upgraded".

    If a step operates on ADM libraries and no ADM libraries are specified in the "Libraries to be upgraded", then the step will run without error; it just won't do anything -- and you will see a log such as that shown above.

    When a 10nn upgrade step, such as 1000, is actually doing something, you will see:

    Step begin 1000

    The znnn table's old version is in znnn_old
    TAB znnn 128K 0K ts0
    creating new table: xxx50 128K 0K ts0
    <etc.>

    A change to the "Upgrade Express 19.01 to 20.01 User Guide" to indicate the need to check the libraries immediately prior to the "Run upgrade express" is in process, but the gist of the matter is this:

    You must do the upgrade_util "5. View/Update upgrade parameters / Libraries to be upgraded" step immediately prior to doing the "3. Run upgrade express" step to confirm that all of your libraries are present.
