    tab_z105, ue_11, $z105_library, & z105 Oracle table **MASTER RECORD**

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 16.02

    Description:
    How do tab_z105, ue_11, $z105_library, & the z105 Oracle table work?

    Resolution:
The z105 processing has been changed in v16.02 to have just a single shared ue_11 process, rather than each library having its own..
ue_11 runs in just one library and the z105 Oracle table exists in just one library: the $z105_library, as specified in the aleph_start parameter:

    setenv z105_library xxxnn

As has always been the case, each library which initiates a z105 relation needs to have a ./tab/tab_z105 with that relation specified.
For authority updating this means having the following line in the tab_z105 of each authority library:.

    UPDATE-DOC 4 xxx01
    <where "xxx01" is the bib library>.

The bib library could have connections to the ADM and HOL libraries -- etc.

Note: if there are no lines needed in a particular library's z105, you should still have the empty tab_z105 (with no relations specified) -- to avoid getting the "Table not found" message in the pc_server log.
