    Searching ampersand (&) in the A-Z list behaves differently then searching 'and'.

    Current A-Z E-journals list behavior of the Starts With search is to only search the Main title.

    The Contains search searches title variants in both the Main and Alternative / Abbreviated titles.

    If a title is not being found with Starts With search because the Main title does not have an ampersand, the current options are:
    1) Add a local Main title (with an &), using the Edit button on the Search Objects results page.
    2) Make Contains search the default search of the A-Z E-journals list.

    Additional Information

    There is an existing enhancement request for Starts With to take the title variants into account.
    We recommend working with the ELUNA SFX Product Working group to vote on the request.
