    Description

Our Cataloging staff noticed that a paired field 880 to 505 is being cut off. We didn't see anything in edit_doc_999 about limiting the number of characters or instances of a paired field in a record. Is there some less-well-documented setting we can adjust to make sure the entire 880 is being masked in OPAC and Web display?

It looks like in these cases the 880 fields with the subfield 9 instead of subfield 6 come from large fields that were split when loaded due to size issues. The 880s created from the split do not have the subfield 6. How would you suggest we modify the process that is splitting the fields so that subfield 6 appears and the fields display correctly?

    Resolution

    This is corrected in SP 22.1.8 (rep_change 2383) and in v23 .
