**What bases should be in the z0102 table?**

    Description:
We understand that not all bases should be included in the optional z0102 table which is built by p_manage_32.

How do we decide what bases should be included?

    Resolution:
The setting of column 8 in tab_base.eng controls the building of the z0102 for particular bases.

We recommend setting tab_base.eng col. 8 to "N" under these conditions:

    1. if a particular base includes more than 10% of the file

    2. if the bib library has fewer than 1 million records, set it to "N" for all bases

(Note: If no bases have a col. 8 "Y"), then you do not need to run p_manage_32.

In case #1, you can look at util h/1/10 to see how many records are in each base, but there will be cases (where the base is between 10% and 16% of the total) where it will give you an "ERR" and suggest that it should be "Y". You can ignore these errors....

In case #2, you can ignore util h/1/10 entirely.

Setting these larger bases to "N" will reduce (1) the run time for p_manage_32 and (2) the size of the z0102 table.
