020 field subfield $$q does not appear when adding an order

    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23
    • Relevant for Installation Type: Dedicated-Direct, Direct, Local, Total Care

    Problem Symptoms:
Update 17 (September 2013) of MARC 21 includes the addition of 020 subfield $$q. This information was formerly part of subfield $$a in brackets, e.g., "(paperback.)", "(v.1)". See: http://www.loc.gov/marc/bibliographic/bd020.html

When adding a new order in the Acquisitions module, if there are multiple ISBNs in the bibliographic record, one can be selected by clicking on the arrow next to "Order ISBN/ISSN".

When the ISBN qualifiers are in subfield $q they do not appear in the list of ISBNs.

    Cause:
program needs to be changed to the new rules

    Resolution:
This will be corrected with rep_change 2508 in Aleph 21. The subfield $q from field 020 will be added to the ISBN field in order form
