Adding or deleting columns to pc_tab_col.lng

Question

Is it possible to add more fields to those listed in pc_tab_col.lng (-- specifically, the item material type) or to delete columns (e.g. author)?

Answer

(1) It is not possible to add columns to this list -- except via program enhancement.

(2) Of course it's possible to delete columns from the list. E.g. delete the "author" column from the list loan short list

Please note that it's also possible to have an individual view on each PC by clicking the right mouse button in the table header and then selecting the fields which one want to see. I think you should prefer that option rather that deleting the author column.

Additional Information

Note: there may be columns which are defined in pc_tab_col.eng as width-percentage 000, and they may be increased. When they are 000 they do not appear.
