    After replacing disk: "error code: 9/033 (ANS74),... 33 Physical I/O error"

    Description:
    There was a disk problem. After replacing the disk, searching still doesn't work and the www_server log has this message:

    I/O error : file '/tmp/utf_files/exlibris/aleph/u18_1/fda01/tab/edit_field.eng'
    error code: 9/033 (ANS74), pc=0, call=4, seg=0
    33 Physical I/O error

    and the pc_server log, this:

    I/O error : file '/tmp/utf_files/exlibris/aleph/u18_1/fda01/tab/pc_tab_short.eng '
    error code: 9/033 (ANS74), pc=0, call=59, seg=0
    33 Physical I/O error

    **In each case the message always shows for the one particular utf_files file only.**

    Restarting the servers has not helped.

    Resolution:
    Since the message pertained to these two utf files only, I deleted them and let them be recreated by the system. This corrected the problem.
