Collapsing Summary Holdings HLD fields in display

    Description:
I have a couple of questions about the summary holdings display in v18's full-view.

-- Is there any way to either
    (a) collapse the various HLD fields in the full-view so that you get one "Summary Holdings" label for all the HLD data, or
    (b) get more precise control over the HLD field labels so that you can have a different label for the linked location-based field data (PST-based data), and a different label for the actual summary holdings data (85x/86x)?

-- Is there some way to use the UTIL-F-4 routine to see the HLD fields for the WEB-FULL view?
When I use the UTIL-F-4 doc_expand/WEB-FULL option for a BIB title, I see all the 85x/86x/PST field entries in the readout, but no HLD entries. This is making it quite hard to troubleshoot the full-view display of that field.

We've gotten our full-view display fairly close to acceptable, but any titles that have any amount of summary-holdings information end up showing multiple lines in the full-view, all with the same "Summary Holdings" label on them. Ideally, we'd like to collapse this into one row in the table, but the normal technique of using "N" or blank in column 9 of edit_doc_999.eng seems to have no effect.

    Resolution:
The answer to all of these questions is this: The HLD display is only available for the full view and is completely hard-coded. This means that there is currently no way to collapse HLD fields together, to get more precise control over how they display or even to display them with UTIL-F-4.

Thanks to Jane Aitkins of McGill for posting this information on the ALEPH-NA list.
