Difference in length of utf_files version of table vs. $data_tab

Description:
We find differences in the length of the utf_files version of our aleph tables (as found in $aleph_utf/utf_files/exlibris./...) and the source files (as found in $data_tab).

For instance, we see this for the utf_files:

> ls -lrt $aleph_utf/utf_files/exlibris/aleph/u20_1/abc50/tab/tab15.eng
-rw-rw-r-- 1 aleph aleph 10208 Oct 15 11:08 tab15.eng

and this for the source table:

> ls -lrt $data_tab/tab15.eng
-rw-rw-r-- 1 aleph aleph 10299 Aug 26 09:38 tab15.eng

Is this a problem?

Resolution:
Comparison of the $data_tab version to the utf_files shows that the former has 91 extra blanks at the end of lines while these terminal blanks have been removed from the lines in the utf_files version.

The removal/presence of these blanks makes no difference in the function of the table, so this discrepancy can be ignored.

Nevertheless, if you want to make the tables the same, you can edit the file in $data_tab, removing the any blanks following the last character in each line.

Though it is not relevant in this particular instance, another reason for discrepancies can be the presence of diacritics in the source table. This may result in a different utf_files version.
