    Error opening header file: eph/headers/alephe/error_header_4_4_1_200

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 18.01

    Description:
when using util h 3 to update alephe file headers as part of the service pack implementation these error messages are appearing:

    syncronizing: /exlibris/aleph/u18_1/alephe/error_dev/server_execute
    Error opening header file: eph/headers/alephe/error_header_4_4_1_200
    syncronizing: /exlibris/aleph/u18_1/alephe/error_dev/server_execute_slips
    Error opening header file: eph/headers/alephe/error_header_4_4_1_200
    log created in /exlibris/aleph/a18_1/tmp/util_h_03.20070921.110307.log
    Enter CR to continue...

I have repeated this a number of times on test server , but the messages are still appearing. What is causing this problem, and how can we fix it.

    Resolution:
The error_eng directory was moved from alephe to aleph.

The line in aleph_start should be 'setenv aleph_error_eng $aleph_dev/aleph/error_eng'

The aleph start in ver 18 was released with the line 'setenv aleph_error_eng $alephe_dev/aleph/error_eng'
(please note the difference between 'aleph_dev' and 'alephe_dev').

There is a development step to correct this and will be released in the coming SPs.
