    Fast Patron Registration: Default mailing address type

    Description:
    When we create a new patron account via fast patron registration, we have to go back into the address tab and change the address type from 1 (permanent address) to 2 (mailing address).

    Is there a way to make it default to mailing address?

    Resolution:
    In the case of Fast Patron Registration, the "Z304-ADDRESS-TYPE" line in tab_fast_patron_register determines the address type.

    The addition of Z304-ADDRESS-TYPE to tab_fast_patron_register occurred with v20 rep_change 2074; thus, it is available only in version 20-up.

    Your site's $usr_library (sys00) tab_fast_patron_register has no "Z304-ADDRESS-TYPE" line -- and thus is defaulting to "01".

    You need to add this line:

    Z304-ADDRESS-TYPE=02

    Note: In the case of regular (non-Fast) address creation, the DEFAULT-ADDRESS parameter in tab100 controls the type. The default is "01".
