For the same patron/item combination, make circulation policy for two sublibraries different

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

    Desired Outcome Goal:
Make circulation policy for sublibraries, Lib A and Lib B, different: so that, no matter what sublibrary the item belongs to, an item checked out at the Lib Bt circulation desk will get a 2-week loan period (whereas the same item checked out by the same patron at the Lib A desk will get the regular loan period).

    Procedure:
Create a z305 (PATRON’S LOCAL INFORMATION) sublibrary record for Lib B for each patron. And have a particular borrower status (such as "09") which is specified in this Lib-B z305.

In the regular xxx50 z305 you would have the regular borrower status (such as "01"). (Or you could create a Lib A, sublibrary, z305 withthe regular borrower status (such as "01").

Then, in the./xxx50/tab/tab16, you would have lines for both borrower status 01 and 09. The 09 line(s) would have 14 days as the loan period in all cases.
