    Description:
I am logged into version 19 as xxxxx. I can search for a record, but when I click on Cataloging to bring the item up, I am getting the attached error message "User denied permission for function (Cataloging Record ...)" .

    Resolution:
If you are connecting to the Aleph (USM01) test files, then use "master" as the log-in.

If you are connecting to your own database, then this message indicates that you do not have the proper permissions under the Staff Privileges -- Access Rights for the library you are trying to connect to.
