    Description
We are experiencing a problem with circulating materials with the item status 36 (6-hour loan). The library is open until Midnight, which has been specified in xxx50/tab/tab16 as 23:59. It's our understanding that items will have a diminishing due time. That is, as we near closing, the item will always be due back by closing, even if it is a 6-hour loan. In other words, a student could borrow a magazine at 18:00 and it would be due at 23:59 on the same day, but if the student borrowed the same magazine at 21:00 it would still be due at 23:59 (thus effectively reducing the 6-hour loan to 3 hours).
We have 2-hour loans and 4-hour loans which work just this way.
However, the 6-hour loans are showing to be due at opening hour (08:00) the following day.

    Resolution:
This relates to tab16, column 27 (Adjust Due Date and Hour). You have "0" in this column.
0 = Adjust a due hour which is after closing time to the closing time (if the due date is an open day), or to the closing time of the NEXT open day (if the due date is a closed day).

It seems that you want "1" instead:
1 = Adjust a due hour which is after closing time to the closing time (if the due date is an open day), or to the closing time of the PREVIOUS open day (if the due date is a closed day).
