    How is the "setenv DEFAULT_TS" value in $alephe_root/aleph_start used?

    Answer

    DEFAULT_TS is used in the case where no tablespace is specified in col. 5 of a $data_root/file_list entry. The normal thing is to specify a tablespace value in *every* $data_root/file_list entry.
