How to Remove Extra Blank Lines from Plain Templates?

Description:
How can we remove the blank space between the paragraphs in the email (example below)
I could edit the plain-lost-material-summary-02.xsl and other xsl templates according to Support's "How to reduce extra line spaces in xsl forms" and reduce some of the extra blank lines in the Print templates.
However, in the email that uses the plain-xxx.xsl templates, I can't remove the blank lines.

Resolution:
As you can see below, there is no single cause. Each section has its own issues and fixes need to be made in both the letter xsl file and multiple plain-funcs files.
