Is it possible to eliminate sip2 patron information response ("Patron in file")?

Description:
We are installing a new 3M v2 series self check. The patron account information button on the SC machine returns one field "patron message." Can we customize the response to not include this back to the SC machine?

Resolution:
The 3M machine is sending a type 63 message. The sip2_server is responding with a type 64 ("Patron in file") message. There is no way to suppress the sending of this 64 in response to the 63.

But if you can change the 3M to not send the type 63, the sip2_server will certainly not send any 64.

I don't believe sip2 requires the 63/64 messages to be sent.
