Library Information" - i - button in Standard Format: File does not exist

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 18.01

    Problem Symptoms:
*Pressing the -i- info button in the Standard Format display for a record in OPAC, the following error message is displayed: The file does not exist on the server

    Cause:
    * library-gen.html file is missing in $alephe_root/ www_f_lng directory for the local language

    Resolution:
    * The file is present in the $alephe_root/www_f_lng directories for the languages supported by Aleph
    * Copy the library-gen.html file from $alephe_root/www_f_eng to the $alephe_root/www_f_lng for your language code and customize it
    * It is possible create a customized file for every sublibrary present in your system
    * To do this copy the library-gen.html file in a new library-xxx.html file where "xxx" is a sublibrary code:
    cp library-gen.html library-xxx.html
    * Clicking the "i" library information button in OPAC for a sublibrary for which any customized file has been created, the library-gen.html information page is displayed instead.
