    Question

How to create a list of BIB records which don't have linked item records?

    Answer

Use "Retrieve Catalog Records (ret-01)" with an expand program in order to create a field from the item record and select all BIB records which don't have this field.

    Here are the required steps:

    xxx01/tab/tab_expand [Add a line]

    RET        expand_doc_bib_z30

The program expand_doc_bib_z30 creates a virtual field Z30 (only for the service ret-01) in the BIB record for every linked item record. Restart of PC server is required.

You can now search in service ret-01 for eg. "field LDR available but NOT field Z30" (see example in attached screenshot). The output is a list of system numbers and can be found in $alephe_scratch.
