No a-tree alephe directory after running Upgrade Express

    • Article Type: Q&A
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

    Question

After running the 20-21 Upgrade Express, there's an ./a21_1/aleph and an ./alephe.orig directory, but no ./a21_1/alephe directory. Is this a problem?

    Answer

Upgrade Express moves the ./a2_n/alephe directory to ./a2n_n/alephe.orig. After Upgrade Express runs there is no ./a2n_n/alephe directory. It is *not* needed by the system; it's just for reference. The subsequent Service Pack's create the ./a2n_n/alephe, with whatever subdirectories they require, containing the files generated by the Service Pack's fixes.

Thus, after Upgrade Express runs and before the first Service Pack, it is correct and proper for there to be no ./a2n_n/alephe directory.
