    OAI Data Provider; how to install and/or activate

    Question

    We want to use OAI data provider. How to proceed?
    Does it need to be installed or just activated?

    Answer

    There is no extra installation needed.

    For implementing the OAI provider you have to follow the following manuals from Ex Libris Documentation Center > Aleph > Technical Documentation > OAI and Publishing:

    * Aleph Publishing Mechanism
    * Publishing Based OAI Data Provider

    (Ignore the OAI Data Provider-document as this is for the legacy OAI provider).
