Print Forms Require Print Button Click for Each Slip

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 18.01

    Description:
In a previous version, we could click print once and a file of several hundred slips would print out as individual prints.

Now, using the Task Manager, when we try to print a file we cannot see an option to print all slips. We can cancel all, and close all, but cannot figure out how to print all.

    Resolution:
This is a Task Manager setup issue. Open the Task Manager and click on your file to select it. Note at the bottom of the window, there is a dropdown box labeled "Print Setup". It probably has a "Y" showing. If you change that to "N", then your forms should print without operator intervention.
If you want to change this to "N" by default, go to alephcom/tab/alephcom.ini and do a find on "PrintSetup". Setting "PrintSetup=N" will mean that the default is to print without the Print Dialog.
It is a "sticky" setting and, after it is first changed in the GUI, will remain at your last selection until you change it again.
