Retrieving records before loading them in Course Reserves in Aleph 19 possible?

Description:
[Version 18] We are testing saving and mailing records in Course Reserves inside Aleph OPAC.

It is desired that staff can retrieve/view the records before loading them in the course reserves database.

Resolution:
The format of the records in this input file is as follows:

02 REC-IN-DOC-NUMBER PICTURE 9(9).
02 REC-IN-LIBRARY PICTURE X(5).
02 REC-IN-NOTE PICTURE X(100).

This is the standard "p_ret_01" format, except for the inclusion of the "REC-IN-NOTE".

If your input file does not include the REC-IN-NOTE, then this file could be used as input to the GUI Service p_print_08. p_print_08 prints brief info for each record in a columnar format. The staff could then look at the report in the Task Manager.

If your input file *does* include "REC-IN-NOTE"s or you want the staff to be able to see this in the Web, we don't know of any way to do that.
