    SRU-Search ends up with error "Record not available in this schema"

    Problem Symptoms:
    SRU-Search ends up with error "Record not available in this schema" and no result is displayed although one can see that the search was done properly and the number of results is provided.

    Cause:
    Configuration

    Resolution:
    In according z39 configuration $alephe_tab/z39_server/z39_server_XXX01.conf an entry for format XML was missing which is neccessary for the SRU display. Add lines like the following:

    out-record-syntax XML
    out-record-format XML
    out-record-char-conv UTF_TO_8859_1
