Should bib library have z00p table? Where do publish-04 and publish-06 run?

    • Article Type: Q&A
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20

    Question

There's a z00p in the xxx50 ADM (and USR) library, but none in the xxx01 Bib library. Shouldn't there be one there as well?

Also, where do the publish-04 and publish-06 publishing jobs run?

    Answer

There is just one z00p in an Aleph installation (it is shared by all libraries doing publishing). It's in the $usr_library.

The publish-04 and publish-06 publishing jobs and the z07p (publishing request) daemon run in each library (such as xxx01, xxx30, etc.) doing publishing, but there is just one z00p table and it's in the $usr_library. That's where the system automatically looks for it.
