    Some ue-01 processes are still running: ue_01_word_index : Y

    • Article Type: General
    • Product: Aleph
    • Product Version: 20, 21, 22, 23

    Description:
    We see these messages in the p_manage_18 log file:
    Library ABC01 unlocked
    Library ABC01 unlocked
    lib_batch is already running for ABC01
    Some ue-01 processes are still running:
     ue_01_a : N
     ue_01_word_index : Y
     ue_01_z0102_index : N

    Thus, it seems that util_e_stop is not stopping the ue_01_word_parallel process. And we find that util e/2 also does not stop it. We need to kill it.

    Resolution:
    We had them:
    1. Kill the ue_01_word_parallel process using the "kill" command;
    2.. Do util c/1 to confirm that all the ue_01 processes are stopped;
    3. Do util e/1 to restart ue_01
    This worked and we had them leave it like this.

    Note:  This article previously talked about the aleph_start "parallel_words" parameter, but that is obsolete as of version 20.
