    Taking a long time to access certain order records

    In the GUI Acquisitions Module, it takes a long time for the the Aleph order records # 5201159 and # 1793032 to display. The hour glass stays up for minutes with each click, and sometimes we get the message "Server failed to execute request after 60 seconds " Once the record is displayed it continues to take a long time to access any other node of the record such as "Arrival".

    Another order is 1069652. When I looked this up the message came up - failed to read reply and there is another message in the top box " Error retrieving line number 000001.

    This does not seem to be the case for other order records.

    Resolution:
    The pc_server log showed these errors:

    Oracle error: fetch z78
    ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kdsgrp1], [], [], [], [],


    We rebuilt the Oracle index for the z78 (using util a/17/3) and we no longer get the error.

    In the course of doing this the 000962407-00020-012 z78 order claim record (for "Vol. 89", November 2007) was deleted. I'm pretty sure that this volume was received and that this claim is no longer needed.
