Upgrade Express 20.01 to 21.01 User Guide - Installing the new GUI

Question

The document "Upgrade Express 20.01 to 21.01 User Guide in chapter "5 Installing the new GUI" includes the option of upgrading the current GUI stating:
"...To apply the upgrade program..."

Where can the upgrade program for the GUI be found?

Answer

* Whenever the Installation wizard detects, that there is already an (older) client installed in the target directory, it will alert you
* If you confirm the installation, the system will synchronize the *.ini files and save the old GUI version to directories ./xxx.sav (e.g. acq.sav).

Additional Information

The above only applies to client file gui500.exe
The file gui500-u.exe - used to distribute an adapted GUI to staff PCs and is a result of a re-packaging the client - is not capable of this synchronization.
