    V18 upgrade: Update Tables Package: cat: cannot open /tmp//utf_files"

    Description:
    When running Util/m/7 Update Tables Package, it is repeatedly throwing off error messages such as

    cat: cannot open /tmp//utf_files/.........../u18_1/sth50/pc_tab/catalog/monthly1.mrc

    This has the upgrade process on hold.

    Where is it getting the path setting ?

    Resolution:
    The "tmp//utf_files..." is wrong. The extra "/" is caused by the following line in aleph_start:

    setenv aleph_utf /tmp/

    This needs to be corrected to:

    setenv aleph_utf /tmp
