When trying to access the ILL module for a different ILL unit, the error 'Username ABCD does not exist' is displayed
- Article Type: General
- Product: Aleph
- Product Version: 21
Problem Symptoms:
We require staff to use the ILL module at this site to review ILLs which have been initiated at other sub-libraries.
Currently when trying to access the module an error is shown 'Username ABCD desn't exist'
Cause:
User does not exist/Access rights are not set up correctly
Resolution:
Execute the following steps to create the relevant access rights:
- create a new staff user (e.g. ABCD) / or choose an existing one by right-clicking on the little key icon at the bottom of the screen / Staff Privileges
- with option 'Modify' you can assign the 'ILL unit' to the user
- In 'Access rights' assign at least reading rights for the ILL library 'XXX40' in section '6. Interlibrary Loan', e.g. allow 'ILL Borrowing' - all 'Display ...' rights.
